Salt, rum and coffee (private)
If you want to get to know the real Gran Canaria, you must not forget to get to know the tastes of the island. On the east coast, we will visit a place where sea salt is produced as it was centuries ago. Then we move to the north of the island, to a city famous for its rum. We will visit the oldest cellar, in which rum matures in wooden barrels, in Europe. Let's see how the whole process of rum production goes. Of course, we will not forget the tasting, during which you will definitely fall in love with our honey rum. Then we will go to the west of the island, where we will visit the northernmost coffee plantation in the world. We will learn something about growing coffee but also about the culture of its drinking. You can also prepare coffee "popcorn" yourself.
Itinerary
- Departure from the hotel by area (approximate times Mogán 08:45, Puerto Rico 09:00, Maspalomas 09:15, Las Palmas 08:45)
- Tenefé - tour of the salt pans
- Arucas - visit to a distillery with a tour and tasting
- Puerto de Las Nieves - lunch break (approx. 45 min)
- Valle de Agaete - visit to a coffee plantation with tour and tasting
- Return to the hotel approx. 17:30 - 18:30

- Tour organized just for your group. On the car will be only you and your family or friends.
- In the winter time do not forget to bring a sweatshirt, windbreaker and a raincoat or umbrella with you on tour. Even if you don’t need them, the car will take you.
- Don’t forget sunscreens, sunglasses.
- If you have difficulty driving around valleys and mountains, we recommend using an anti-nausea tablet before driving.
- Be sure to pick up your ID.
- The route of tour can be operatively changed in case of bad weather.
- Meals during trips are not provided. We make coffee break or lunch break according to your request.
- Of course, we cannot guarantee mountain views, everything depends on the current weather.
