Gran Canaria highlights (private)
Trip designed for a group of people up to 4 people. During the trip you travel in the comfort of a car with a English-speaking driver. The length of the trip is approximately 8 hours. Meals during the trip are not provided, but we will be happy to stop for a lunch break in one of the local restaurants, during which you will have the opportunity to taste Canarian specialties.
The trip called the great circuit of Gran Canaria is intended for those who want to learn about the history of the island and discover the beauties of this "mini-continent". You will get to know the most interesting and beautiful places of the island, such as the crater Caldera Bandama, the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Arucas, the city of water - Firgas, the street of balconies and the Basilica of Nueastra Señora del Pino dedicated to the patron saint of the island in the town of Terror. We will not miss the geographical center of the island of Cruz de Tejeda. We will then continue to the highest mountain of the island, Pico de Las Nieves. We park our car under the mountain and a comfortable walk of about 10 minutes awaits us. On the way to the south of the island we pass under the majestic Roque Nublo and the valley of a thousand palm trees and the ancient village of Fataga.
Itinerary
- departure from the hotel at 09:00 (recommended)
- Caldera de Bandama - view point
- Arucas -Â church of St. John the Baptist, entry to the church is not guaranteed. The entrance fee (5,00 Eur) is not included in the price of the trip.
- Firgas - streets with mosaics and models of the Canary Islands
- Teror - balcony street, Basilica of Nuestra Señora del Pino, entry to the church is not guaranteed
- lunch break in a restaurant with a beautiful view of the north of the island with the option of choosing from the menu or the daily offer (optional, monday closed)
- Cruz de Tejeda - center of the island, view of the island's largest crater
- Pico de Las Nieves - the highest mountain of the island, due to the traffic situation, we recommend walking approx. 10 minutes
- Roque Nublo - a short stop at the viewpoint of this rock monument
- Fataga - a typical Canarian village
- Degollada de las Yeguas - view of Maspalomas and the Fataga Valley
- return to the hotel (approx. 17:00, or later according to the program)
We reserve the right to make operational changes in the itinerary. The itinerary may be modified due to the weather, traffic situation or the necessary time to return to the port. It is also possible to adjust the itinerary at the client's request within the possibilities. Changes to the itinerary do not affect the price of the trip, unless otherwise agreed in advance.

Recomendations
- The length of tour is aprox. 8 hours.
- Departure from the hotel is recomended at 09:00.
- Entrance fees and refreshments are NOT included in the price of the trip. They are paid directly on the spot.
- The length of tour is indicative and may vary according to current conditions.
- The recommended minimum age for children is 10 years.
- Tour organized just for your group. On the car will be only you and your family or friends.
- In the winter time do not forget to bring a sweatshirt, windbreaker and a raincoat or umbrella with you on tour. Even if you don’t need them, the car will take you.
- Don’t forget sunscreens, sunglasses.
- If you have difficulty driving around valleys and mountains, we recommend using an anti-nausea tablet before driving.
- Be sure to pick up your ID.
- The route of tour can be operatively changed in case of bad weather.
- Meals during trips are not provided. We make coffee break or lunch break according to your request.
- Of course, we cannot guarantee mountain views, everything depends on the current weather.
