Dams and west of the island.
Excursioun designed for a group of people up to 4 people. During the trip you travel in the comfort of a car with a English-speaking driver. The length of the trip is approximately 8 hours. Meals during the trip are not provided, but we will be happy to stop for a lunch break in one of the local restaurants, during which you will have the opportunity to taste Canarian specialties.
We will start the trip to the dams and the west of the island on the way through a deep gorge from the town of ArguineguÃn to the largest dam on the island of La Soria. Around the Presa de las Niñas dam we will continue to the highest town of the island - Artenara. We will stop at the lookout, where we can sit with an excellent coffee and enjoy the beautiful views of the Tejed caldera. We will continue through one of the deepest gorges on the island to the town of La Aldea de San Nicolas de Tolentino. Along the way we pass the eye of other dams that have an interesting history - Presa de la Candelaria, Presa del Paralillo and Presa Caidero de la Niña. Then we get to the westernmost point of the island - Mirador de Balcón. On the way back, if we have time, we will make a short stop in the romantic town of Puerto de Mogán.
